Local Collaborative Partnerships
The FPR Advisory Council was established to link public and private sector activities and resources.
The council includes members from financial institutions, the foundation community, city and county government, community partners and service providers.
Collaboration and coordination are the basis for all of the work undertaken by FPR. This includes regular information exchange with:
- Detroit Neighborhood Forum
- Michigan Foreclosure Task Force
- The Detroit Vacant Property Campaign
- The Next Detroit Neighborhood Initiative
- Detroit Local Initiatives Support Corporation
- The City of Detroit Planning and Development Department
- The Detroit Area Community Indicators System Center
- The Vacant Property Leadership Team
- Industry leaders (servicers/lenders) and others.
By building relationships and providing opportunities to share common concerns and discuss strategies, FPR has been able to identify venues for coordinated research needs, resource deployment and strategy development.
